BEGINNING MONDAY JUNE 8, 2020. PLEASE NOTE UD COLLECTION CENTER CHANGES
COVID-19 IgG Antibody testing will no longer be available at the UD Collection Center. All COVID-19 IgG antibody testing is provided through CompuNet Patient Service Centers with no appointment needed. The UD Collection Center will continue to accept patients with a doctor's order for the COVID-19 PCR screening test. No appointment is needed for this test but you must have a doctor's order.
NOTE: Also beginning June 8, the hours will change to Monday - Friday, 1:00pm - 5:00pm.
Important information if you would like COVID-19 IgG Antibody testing (now available at all CompuNet Patient Service Centers):
You should be symptom-free for at least 10 days for antibody testing.
- We ask that all patients wear a face mask when visiting a CompuNet Patient Service Center.
- The cost is $65. Checks and credit cards are accepted. Because this test is self-ordered, insurance cannot be billed.
- Results will be ready within a couple days on My Labs Now.
- Please note: A positive result for the IgG antibody does not necessarily imply immunity from COVID-19. Whatever the result, individuals should continue to follow federal, state, and local public health guidance for social distancing and other recommended behaviors during the pandemic.
