Self-order Lab Testing Available through CompuNet

CompuNet will help you take a more active role in your health with a menu of select tests that you may request without a doctor’s order. These confidential tests are an easy and affordable way for you to keep an eye on your health status.

These tests are available at all CompuNet Patient Service Centers.

How to Order

1. To order, complete the Lab Test Order form and take it with you to any CompuNet Patient Service Center or complete an order form at the Patient Service Center. No appointment needed!

2. Check in with our staff, give them your completed order form, and have a seat. We accept checks, Visa, Mastercard, AmEx, and Discover. Unfortunately, we cannot accept cash at our locations.

3. Our skilled phlebotomist will draw a blood sample and send it to the lab.

4. You will receive your confidential, personalized lab report within 5 - 7 days. We recommend that you share your lab report with your healthcare provider.

  • Customers must be at least 18 years old to purchase their own laboratory tests

Health Profiles - Comprehensive Test Packages

BASIC HEALTH PROFILE - $50 (Men and Women) - Fasting required
Heart (Lipid Panel - Cholesterol, Triglycerides, HDL, LDL, VLDL), Kidney/ Liver (Comprehensive Metabolic Panel - Albumin, Globulin, A/G ratio, Total Protein, Alkaline phosphatase, ALT, AST, Total bilirubin, BUN, Creatinine, BUN/Creatinine ratio, GFR-glomerular filtration rate/estimated, Electrolytes - sodium, potassium, chloride, carbon dioxide), Diabetes (Glucose).

COMPLETE HEALTH PROFILE - $99 (Men and Women) - Fasting required
Includes all tests in the Basic Health Profile plus a High Sensitivity CRP which predicts risk for cardiovascular disease. A Thyroid Screen (TSH) is included for Women and a Prostate Screen (PSA) is included for Men.

COMPLETE HEALTH PROFILE with A1c - $125 (Men and Women) - Fasting required
Includes all tests in the Basic Health Profile plus a High Sensitivity CRP and a Glycohemoglobin A1c. A Thyroid Screen (TSH) is included for Women and a Prostate Screen (PSA) is included for Men.
 

General Health Tests for Men and Women

Vitamin D Panel - $60    Used to detect Vitamin D deficiency.

Cardiac Health Screen - $40
Detects risk of heart attack, coronary artery disease or stroke. Also known as a Lipid Panel. Includes Cholesterol, HDL, LDL, VLDL, and Triglycerides. Fasting required.

Anemia Screen - $45
Checks iron status and shows if there is an abnormally high, abnormally low, or a sufficient supply of iron. Includes: Hemoglobin, Iron, Total Iron Binding Capacity (TIBC), and % Iron Saturation.

Prostate Screen (PSA) - $45
Measures the amount of prostate-specific antigen. Rising or changing levels of PSA may be a sign of a prostate problem, possibly cancer.

Thyroid Screen (TSH) - $45
Test to detect problems with the thyroid gland.

Diabetes Management Panel - $49
For people already diagnosed with diabetes. Includes Glucose and Glycohemoglobin A1c. Fasting required.

Glycohemoglobin A1c - $29
Important test for diabetics. Monitors glucose over a period of time.

Total Cholesterol - $20
Estimates risk of developing heart disease. Cholesterol only. Fasting required.

Diabetes Screen - $20
Test detects diabetes or a pre-diabetic condition. Glucose. Fasting required.

CRP (HIGH SENSITIVITY) C-Reactive Protein - $30
The CRP test does not diagnose specific disease but is a general marker for inflammation or infection. An elevated (HS) CRP level may be a risk factor in heart disease or may simply play a role in causing heart problems.

COMPLETE BLOOD COUNT WITH DIFF (CBC) - $35
Gives important information about the kind and number of cells in your blood. Physicians often use the information from a CBC to evaluate symptoms, diagnose conditions, and treat certain illnesses.

SERUM IRON AND TIBC - $30
Serum iron, total iron-binding capacity (TIBC) and a calculated transferrin saturation determine how much iron is being carried in the blood. These tests are used together to detect and help diagnose too little or too much iron.

The Centers for Disease Control (CDC) has determined that assays such as T-Spot may be used in any situation where a TB skin test would be used.
 

Fasting:

If your test requires fasting, do not eat or drink anything except water for 8 - 12 hours before your test. Do not stop taking your prescription medicine while you fast. If your doctor advises you to eat food with your medicine, consult with your doctor before fasting.
