Anatomic Pathology

Surgical Pathology: Histology with routine and special stains, immunohistochemistry with over 150 antibodies and in-situ hybridization testing including PDL1, MLH, MSH, PMS and Her 2 neu.  Pathologist interpretation of special studies is available by consultation.

Cytopathology: Gyn Cytology by ThinPrep Imaging System®, Expanded PAP testing options: HPV 16/18/45, GC, CT and Trich. Non-Gyn Cytology.


Molecular Oncology

Next Generation Sequencing, EGFR, KRAS, NRAS by PCR, Laser Capture Microdissection


Hematology

Hematology: CBC, body fluid count and differential, crystal identification, bone marrow evaluation.

Flow Cytometry: Acute and chronic leukemia, lymphoma, and PNH, with extensive pathology interpretation; Helper Suppressor ratio, T&B for immunity, CD3 quantification for transplant rejection, stem cell enumeration (CD34) for bone marrow transplant.


Immunohematology

Blood typing, Prenatal and pretransfusion workups, antibody identification, and titration.


Coagulation

Routine coagulation testing plus extensive special coagulation studies including factor assays, heparin-induced platelet antibodies, Lupus anticoagulant, Protein C, Protein S, ATIII, platelet aggregation, von Willebrand’s activity and antigen, ADAMTS-13, phospholipid antibodies, circulating anticoagulant.


Chemistry

Routine chemistry panels, in addition to Vitamin D, thyroid and reproductive hormones, and tumor markers. Advanced chemistry methodologies for hemoglobin and protein (serum/urine) electrophoresis.


Toxicology

Drug testing by screening and confirmatory methodologies for monitoring of both prescribed and illicit drugs. Immunosuppressant testing by LC/MS.


Infectious Disease

Microbiology: Bacteriology, mycology, mycobacteriology, parasitology; routine and specialized susceptibility testing.

Virology: Respiratory virus isolation


Molecular Diagnostics

CMV, HIV and Hepatitis C viral loads, PCR for viral and bacterial infectious disease targets, including viruses of concern for transplantation.

Mutation Testing: Cystic fibrosis, Factor V Leiden, Prothrombin Gene Mutation, JAK2


Immunology/Serology

Allergy testing, autoimmune testing, hepatitis markers, celiac disease panel, Interferon-Gamma Release assays (QuantiFERON®-TB Gold, T-Spot), fungal serology, viral serology, immune cell function, occult blood.
